First Lady Rose Watson Celebrates Debut CD Release TIMELESS With Special Guests and Thousands of Church Family Members and Supporters

Richmond, VA – It’s been years in the making but finally First Lady Rose Watson of Saint Paul’s Baptist Church, Richmond, VA, debuted her new album, TIMELESS, to the world.

Looking glam even in her relaxed jeans and tee shirt which was accessorized by a Swarovski crystal red, white and blue belt and Giovanni Rossi red pumps, she was ready to get this celebratory evening started.

With her husband, senior pastor, Dr. Lance D. Watson by her side, who was heavily involved in orchestrating the celebration, he was absolutely glowing throughout the entire evening.

The TIMELESS evening kicked off with a video presentation of timeless snippets from various movies, singers and performers including The Color Purple and The Body Guard and short performance snippets from icons including Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Shirley Caesar showcasing some of their most timeless recordings.

In that same light, this historic and epic moment continued with the introduction of the First Lady of the evening, Rose Watson.  While you could see the excitement in her every move, there was also visible humility and gratitude as she graced the stage to perform three songs from her new album.

She performed with a lot of heart, energy and determination as she shared her musical gifts from God.

Joining First Lady Rose on stage were her background singers including Chenee Campbell, Tyrus Bush, Linny Smith and Melonie Daniels who has also performed with countless top chart topping artists including Mariah Carey.  Also there to make sure every note from the band was hit just right was her music producer Stanley Brown, who has also worked with everyone from Fred Hammond to Shirley Caesar to LeAndria Johnson.

Special guests joining the First Lady for the evening and performing short sets of two to three songs were Bishop Marvin Winans, Pastor Charles Jenkins and Byron Cage.

The CD mark’s First Lady Rose first album release and represents a stretch of time that encompasses a wealth of talent.

Before the evening was over First Lady Rose was overcome with so much emotion, she was brought to tears and simply had to take a moment.

Truly, this has been a long time coming and all who were there to be apart of the evening were happy for her.

The guest emcee for the evening was Sheilah Belle, “The Belle.

For the grand finale everyone was invited back on stage to sing one final song, which into several songs, along with Pastor Lance D. Watson, singing the lead on one of them.  It was a great, memorable moment in time, that will forever remain TIMELESS in the minds of those who were there.
