Presenting The Men’s Master Summit Man of the Year Award
September 29, 2026 -- The Men’s Master Summit returns to the campus of Virginia Union University on Saturday, October 10, 2026, and we invite you join us for this powerful and transformational gathering.
Hosted inside the Living & Learning Center, the Summit, now set for its 4th gathering, brings together more than 100 men from across Richmond and surrounding communities for a full day of empowerment, connection, and personal growth. This curated, men-only environment has become a premier space where men of all ages can learn, heal, build, and thrive. Special guests include; Senator Mike Jones, Dr. LeQuan Hylton, John Siler, Rev. Lance Watson, Jr., Al Hutchinson, JT Logan, Mr. Ernest Porter, Coach Earl Jerrell, Luke Porter, Dr. Ronald Thornhill, Julian Cananaugh, Jason Simmons, Pastor Tyrone Nelson, Rev. Donte McCutchen, Rev. Darryl Husband, Curtis Harris, David Siler, Leon Medley and more.

Founded by visionary leader Sheilah Belle, "The Belle," the Summit was created from a challenging place in life, but has grown into a movement that strengthens families, communities, and futures. As she shares, "We are arming, empowering, and reminding the men that they don't have to do life alone and that there are resources and other men here to help."
A special highlight of the 2026 Summit will be the presentation of the inaugural Men's Master Summit Man of the Year Award. This prestigious honor will recognize an individual whose leadership, service, mentorship, resilience, and commitment to uplifting others exemplify the very mission of the Summit. By establishing this award, the Men's Master Summit seeks to celebrate men who lead with integrity, inspire positive change, strengthen families, and serve as role models within their communities.
The award is about more than recognizing one outstanding individual. It sends a powerful message to every man in attendance, especially younger generations, that character, accountability, service, and perseverance matter.
For the recipient, it represents affirmation that their efforts and impact have not gone unnoticed.
